Les Amants de Septembre Rouge
The subtle blend of two grape varieties from the September harvest which intertwine, intertwine like lovers to create a wine with personality. The grape varieties can be classic, conventional and/or atypical (Tanat, Petit Verdot), hybrids such as Marselan (Cabernet-Sauvignon – Grenache noir), Caladoc (Grenache Noir – Malbec)… This brand opens up the possibility of blending grape varieties from different wine regions and to enhance French know-how. Tasting note: The power and spicy notes of Syrah intertwine perfectly with the roundness and fruitiness of Grenache. A wine with a deep red color and a beautiful shine. The complex and very expressive nose develops notes of very ripe red fruits evolving into notes of sweet spices. On the palate, fruitiness, roundness and balance are the key words, all accompanied by a final finish on notes of liquorice.
Served between 11 and 17°C, it will be enjoyed easily from chilled as an aperitif to at room temperature. Try it as an accompaniment to mixed salads, grilled white and red meats, and soft cheeses like Saint-Marcellin.
